The Kripalu Kitchen is a lively, fast-paced environment that serves up to 1500 all natural, healthy meals a day.
The positions in Veggie Prep require the ability to work with knives, cut and wash vegetables, stand for up to seven hours per day, lift in excess of 35 lbs. (20 lbs. over shoulder height), be in and out of hot and cold environments regularly, walk on wet floors, bend, kneel, reach, and push heavy carts.
The Door Greeter requires the ability to manage a flexible schedule and continually interact with guests, volunteers, and staff while standing for 3–4 hours per shift. This position also vacuums, wipes tables, and must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
The Dish Washing requirements include lifting in excess of 35 lbs., standing or walking at least seven hours per day, working with your hands, bending, kneeling, pushing heavy carts, scrubbing floors, and dumping trash. The ability to work well both independently and with a team is essential. This position requires a tolerance for temperature fluctuations and noise.
